The typical drying process will take between 3-5 days depending on the number of rooms and items that have been affected by water. It is pretty common to have items like baseboards, carpet pad and wet insulation removed. Where there is wicking on drywall, small drying holes may need to be made. This is a small sampling of what may be involved in the process. And depending on if it is clean or dirty water, further demolition may be needed. At the end of the process, the property will be dry and ready for rebuild, the next step in restoring your property to preloss condition.
